Damion Krska

I am currently serving as a parent Governor at KirkBalk Community College and a Local Authority Governor for the federation of Sacred Hearts, St Helen's and St Michael & All Angels Catholic Primary Schools.

My believe is that education is vital to Barnsley's future growth and prosperity and I work with both the Community and Schools to ensure that education is delivered to the highest standards. Being a Councillor will enable me to be more influential in achieving this.

I am a listening and understanding person who will respond to your issues and concerns within our community.

Independents are firmly committed to raising Barnsley's educational standing and lifting Barnsley from the bottom of the national table to a position of which we can be proud.

Labour Councillors have to be challenged in the Council Chamber and must not be allowed to continue being instructed to do everything the Leader tell them to do.

Independents make their own minds up for themselves and do not wait until someone else makes it up for them.
